Jose Delerme, an ASAP Coach and gymnast, suffered a spinal cord injury after an accident on the pommel horse. Jose has been a part of the ASAP Family from the beginning. He was first a gymnast, working his way through the levels, ultimately reaching Level 10 status. At the 2015 J.O. Nationals, Jose became the 18 year old Level 10 National Still Rings Champion. Utilizing his gymnastics background and positive, upbeat personality, Jose became a coach at ASAP and touched the lives of many young gymnasts, tumblers, parkour athletes and cheerleaders. He is an important part of our family and we ask that everyone keep Jose and his family in your thoughts and prayers. Please check out the “Hope for Jose” Facebook Page for updates on Jose’s journey toward recovery. You can also donate to the family at www.hopeforjose.com.
